A Movie Filled Saturday

She enjoys playing with her dollhouse.  She likes to make the toilet flush and the phone ring.

Not the best clip but she blows a kiss, makes her microwave noise, and says Mom within 15 seconds.

Caitlin has learned to take food out of her snack container.  This involves examining the container very closely to make sure there is still food left in there.

Since yesterday, Caitlin has been walking up to 2 steps by herself.

Caitlin's Birthday Party

Caitlin's first birthday party was on August 24th.

Caitlin can now circle the downstairs of the house with her walker without falling (Mommy assists with steering).  If she does fall, she is able to get back up to her walker by herself.

Picture Filled Sunday

Busy Caitlin

Caitlin has made a lot of progress with her walker since Wednesday.  She hasn't quite learned the art of steering so she frequently bumps into walls and furniture.

Climbing the stairs is also an exciting activity.  It involves lots of chatting and checks to make sure Mommy is behind her.

Caitlin took one step on her own today!

Not the clearest of pictures but proof that Caitlin also walked with some help from Mommy today.  Caitlin usually collapses to the floor if someone tries to help her stand.  She is Miss Independent and wants to stand without anyone's help.  Caitlin also walked several steps with her walker today.
