Growing Up

You know your little girl is growing up when instead of reading three bedtime stories to her, she "reads" them to you.

Caitlin works hard at her lacing cards so she can sew just like Yaya.  She does a fantastic job sewing with a little guidance from Mommy.

Too Big for Diapers

When Ernie was a baby, he wore diapers.

Now Ernie's a big boy.  He's too big for diapers.

What's in the big box, Ernie?

Look, it's a potty!

When Ernie has to go, he stops playing.

He runs to his potty,  and he unsnaps his pants, sits on the potty, and goes.

When Ernie is done, he wipes himself with toilet paper.  Don't use too much, Ernie!

Then Ernie washes his hands with sudsy soap.

All finished!  What a big boy, Ernie!

Christmas Day

Caitlin opened up a few more gifts before going to Christmas Mass.

She carries her box of toy food everywhere.  Her Doc McStuffins guitar frequently travels in her Minnie Mouse shopping cart.

Christmas Eve

In order for Caitlin to truly get a chance to enjoy her presents and not get overwhelmed by all of them, she's getting a few at a time on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and over the weekend.  She knows Santa brings presents but since she's still too young to truly understand the whole idea, spreading out the presents works out perfectly.

First up...a Minnie Mouse shopping cart, Minnie Mouse cash register, and play food.  

Princess Caitlin needs to wear Yaya's shoes in order to push her shopping cart around the house.  The shopping cart also serves as a toy transporter from room to room.

Caitlin loves to play music on her Doc McStuffins guitar.
